Does anyone know how to convert .m3u to a .mp3 OR .wma?

I just got a new Zen V Plus. I have A LOT of songs on my computer, but they arn't in .mp3 or .wma format....they are all in .m3u. I was wondering if anyone knows how to convert then over?? I don't want to buy anything, so do you know of any free way??
