I think i'm in a friends with benefits situation?

I have had with the guy, I only hear from him on weekends (maybe during the week to say hi) we have had . I have met a bunch of his friends, one asked me the other night if we were dating, but i think he was trying to be funny...maybe because he knows we're just hooking up. The guy told me from the very beginning that he wasnt looking for anythign serious...we've been hanging out for about a month and a half now. Should i ume this is just fwb?
