Why must parents-to-be have the urge to name their babies odd names?

Odin was my great great great gradfther name so i dont find that odd at all but i can see where you are going with this.. everyone has their own opinion as to whats weird and whats not. Personally i would much rather be named Yuki, Odin, Aiaa, Kura, Ke and Senna over Elizabeth, Marie, Abigail, Alice or Charlotte. Now, i would never name my children anything as strange as those but i dont see why people really care so much about what other people are naming their children. It just seems rude to me. In all honesty who really cares. If everyones name was Elizabeth Mary William and John this world would be very very very boring. There is a line that parents need to draw some where when it begins to get overly horrible.. like naming children after fruits and days of the week. thats just strange.
