Why is some of the music in both of these movie trailers the same?
Ok, here is the deal, in "Disney's a Christmas Carol", starting at 1 min, 50 sec, you hear a background score. In the "Cloudy with a Chance of Meat" trailer you hear another background score starting at 30 sec. Both trailers have the same exact score. For "Disney's a Christmas Carol", the score is composed by Alan Silvestri, and for "Cloudy with a Chance of Meat", the score is composed by Mark Mothersbaugh. So, we have two different composers for two different films. Can someone please explain to me why both films have the same score in the background? I am really curious. Here is the link to A Christmas Carol, a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8gHRNaSrgc" rel="nofollow"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8gHRNaSr…/a - and Cloudy with a Chance of Meat, a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OP9wtdwgeok" rel="nofollow"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OP9wtdwge…/a - Thanks!
