Please HELP prevent Parental Child Abduction?

I'm trying to prevent my ex-spouse from abducting our minor child to a foreign country (my ex-spouse's homeland). I was in Court representing myself because I can't afford an attorney. My ex-spouse petitioned the Court with a request to obtain a pport for our minor child so that my ex-sopuse can take our minor child to a foreign country "on vacation". Despite all the evidence I presented in Court that my ex-spouse is at high risk for keeping our minor child in this foreign country (homeland of my ex-spouse) permanently the judge still granted my ex-spouse permission to obtain a pport for our minor child! I'd like to appeal the judge's ruling, but since I can't afford legal counsel, I don't know what else to do. I would very much appreciate it if anyone would kindly please guide me to other areas that may help me either overturn the judge's ruling or somehow legally prevent my ex-spouse from obtaining a pport for our minor child, despite the judge's ruling granting my ex-spouse permission to do so?
